  At a loss what to do RE: JW family and my kids

  i have 2 small kids, ages 4 and 5 yrs and one on the way (via adoption!).

  my husband and i faded/suddenly disappeared last fall, never to go back to meetings.

  we outed ourselves and told our super hardcore parents/family members that we didn't believe it anymore, were choosing a different path etc.

  so i screwed up big time here.

  there's a nice young witness who is leaving the "truth".

  i sent them a short facebook message and it seems their parent intercepted it...they asked if i sent anything to their kid today.. i said it jws are cultlike, i had doubts i wished i listened to, and to follow their heart.

  watchtower may 1st 1957 "....we must recognize not only jehovah god as our father but his orginization as our mother...obedience to the living god and his wifely organization as well...".

  very catholic of them!!!!!

  My stepfather would always refer to the organisation as our "mother." My mum hated it being ex-catholic.

  i'm sure you've heard married witnesses say things like "i wish i had stayed single longer.

  " usually they say that in reference to "serving jehovah more fully".

  if you are a wife or a child of someone who has ever said that, how does that make you feel?

  An Elder with 6 kid's said this at our assembly.....very encouraging experience.......maybe not for his boy's and wife though!!

  Very Catholic of them!!!!! JEHOVAH IS MARRIED TO NEW YORK BETHEL!! Yes it's not just a printing plant...it's God's wife, his Missus, his better half.

  Next time you say a prayer at the Meeting Brothers don't forget to give thanks for Jehovah's lovely wife our mother!!!!!!

  Biggest Reason For My Leaving....

  i wanted to share with everyone, why i left religion all together, in favor of thinking for myself, and believing in myself.. in the bible, there are of course several accounts which i consider to be barbaric and gruesome.

  i also consider the worst accounts to be inhumane.

  if the bible god is consistent in one thing, it is the continuing theme of inflicting torture and torment on humanity.

  the watchtower claims there has been a "faithful slave" since jesus time till now so.....why did russell go independent and start his own group of bible students?

  why did he claim the title for himself alone?.

  Bethel keeps buildings in New York with Gargoyles {demons} on every corner...but brothers can't hang a "Windchime" without an Elders meeting! Why?

  bethel bought a theatre in queens as an assembly hall which had an egyptian motiff decoration with god's and goddesses.

  a sister visiting for a gilead graduation told brother franz she was stumbled.

  president knorr responded by saying: "they are simply decorations..." the bossert hotel was also bought which has gargoyles {demons} on every corner.
